Governments and institutions have the following sustainable development goals: improvement of energy efficiency reduction CO2 emissions, in a “green economy” approach, currently become fundamental drivers that push research activity toward optimization rotating machine components industrial sector, with special focus on lubrication systems too. The is directed towards tribological testing methods equipment to better discriminate performance lubricants operating conditions as predictive possible real applications. In this context, present paper describes results an experimental campaign based use well-selected linear oscillation SRV * (Schwingung, Reibung, Verschleiss) tribometer procedure screening rig test, FZG ** (ForschungsstellefürZahnräderundGetreibebau(German:ResearchCentreforGearsandGear;UniversityofMunich;Munich,Germany)) leading concrete benefits such saving time (time duration 76% less without mentioning visual inspection mounting/dismounting phase) operative costs.
